Cherry Blossoms are the flower of Spring, the time of renewal, revival, and emerging beauty. There's a great deal of association with love and the cherry across many cultures. Sacred to Venus, the cherry is used to attract love. With their round shape also evoke sensuality, kisses, female lips, hence why in the Middle Ages they represented lust.
This cold process soap contains real cherry blossoms from my previous home in Washington DC. The blossoms were harvested during the April blooming, dried, then steeped in Sunflower oil for 12 months prior to pouring.
